Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves

Caverns, waterfalls, and deep scars in the earth are some of the natural wonders you'll encounter here. Although it may not be exactly the "center of the earth" as is exaggerated on the website, descending below the surface will give you that illusion. The area was almost defaced forever due to logging but efforts to preserve the beauty were successful - and now is a place of adventure enjoyed by tourists during the warmer months. Be expecting that you'll be getting a lot of exercise and climbing plenty of stairs!
