Meriden Covered Bridge

This 80-foot-long bridge was built in 1880 with several enhancements completed throughout the subsequent decades. It's a one-lane vehicular pass, crossing Bloods Brook. If you want to pause and take in the pretty surroundings, there is a parking area at one of the ends. If you're willing to drive out of the way, there are some attractions located within 20 miles such as the Enfield Shaker Museum (New Hampshire), the Vermont Toy Museum, and the Path of Life Sculpture Garden (in Vermont).
