Description:

The first tower to stand at this spot was constructed in 1771 and the second and current tower was constructed in 1878. Now lighted by a fourth-order Fresnel lens, the first lighthouse used oil lamps. Rumored to be haunted, the lighthouse has been featured on an episode of Syfy's "Ghosthunters."
