Description:

This spiraling stone staircase and crumbling walls are the only remnants of a once-grand mansion that almost completely burned down in 1962. Surrounded by a dense forest, the winding staircase gives the location a surreal atmosphere. The ruins are part of a good hike - convenient trails lead visitors from the parking lot to the site.
