Description:
Categorized as a Paddleford Truss Bridge, this covered foot bridge was built in 1870. Named for the river it crosses over, the original structure had been destroyed by flooding from the tumultuous waters below. Miraculously, the debris was cleared and used to make the second bridge built a year later. Although pretty in the winter, you'll see a lot of tourist activity in the summer when people use the river to kayak and fish.
