Description:
This 30-foot-tall carved white stone Buddha has been sitting at the New Jersey Buddhist Vihara monastery since 2009. It's located behind an old house which the monks use for a residence. The Buddha was sculpted by a Sri Lankan Buddhist monk. There's a $2.5 million project in the works to build a big monastery behind the Buddha so visitors and donations are welcome!
