Absecon Lighthouse

At 171 feet tall, the Absecon Lighthouse is New Jersey's tallest lighthouse. It's 150 years old and ranks as the country's third tallest lighthouse. Located at Pacific and Rhode Island Avenues in Atlantic City, this lighthouse draw visitors to climb its 228 steps to see some panoramic views of the Atlantic City skyline and examine the original lighthouse's Fresnel Lens which was first lit in 1857. The lighthouse also features a museum and a gift shop.
