Description:

The Barnsboro Inn in Sewell, New Jersey traces its origins to 1720 when it was built as a simple log cabin before becoming a licensed tavern in 1776 under John Barnes, eventually growing into one of the oldest continuously operating inns in the state. Over the centuries it evolved through several names and owners while retaining its historic charm and was officially added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Today the inn is known for comforting tavern favorites such as mac and cheese, crab cakes, flatbread pizzas and hearty steak and seafood dishes that keep guests returning.
