Description:

Free all year-round admission. More than 550 animals that represent 250 species and all located on 85 acres in Cape May, New Jersey. The Cape May County Park & Zoo is a great attraction throughout the entire year. The zoo opened in 1978 and it features a 57-acre African savannah, an aviary, and a reptile collection. In addition to animal exhibits the zoo also has a trackless train ride that can transport visitors around the zoo and a carousel that has zoo animals instead of the traditional horses.
