So well known that it is frequented by celebrities and so sought-after that you must call the restaurant for a password to enter the secret website, Vola's has been serving up traditional Italian dishes in gargantuan portions in a small 65-seat dining room since 1982. Run by the Esposito family, this covert hideout was probably once a speakeasy in the heady days of Prohibition in Atlantic City but today it's a BYOB - no alcohol is served on the premises. If you're one of the lucky winners of their coveted reservations, be sure to bring gobs of cash as this is a meal that is memorable but pricey and they don't take plastic.
