Lake Lenape Lighthouse

A lighthouse in name only - it doesn't function as such, nor has it ever. It was built purely for aesthetics as it was never meant to guide ships safely to land. However, it is a fixture in Lake Lenape Park and has been since 1939 when it was built. The lighthouse is located on the eastern side of Lake Lenape and hours are from 7:30 AM to 30 minutes after sunset.

Looks like crap right now. They are resurfacing the whole park.
We couldn’t get to the lighthouse (at least 100ft away) due to construction so we came on the other side of the lake on a trail and got some nice shots.
