Description:
The Sterling Hill Mine Tour & Museum (formerly known as the Sterling Hill Mine) was an iron and zinc mine in Ogdensburg, New Jersey and it was the last working underground mine in New Jersey upon closing in 1986. In 1989, the mine was transformed into a museum. The mine was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 1991.
