World War II Lookout Tower

Saves: 6
Check-ins: 16
The last freestanding lookout tower in New Jersey was built in 1942 when Americans feared attacks by foreign nations. There were no attacks on mainland America, but that doesn't mean that the threat didn't exist. There were at one time a total of 15 towers between New Jersey and Delaware. On the Wall of Honor you can see the names and photos of local residents who served in the war. You can also go up to the top of the tower for some amazing sea views.
