Description:

Built in 1906 on the foundation of the original adobe, this is one of the oldest churches in Mesilla Valley. The bells date back to the early 1870s and still call worshipers to Mass. Although the original adobe church was built in the style that Mexican settlers were accustomed to, the newer building was influenced by French Romanesque architecture.
