Puye Cliff Dwellings

Saves: 46
Check-ins: 5
Amazing ruins of an abandoned pueblo were a thriving community between the 900s and 1500s. Unfortunately, a devastating drought forced the Pueblo Indians to move closer to the Rio Grande Valley. Excavation took place in 1907 and was named a National Historic Landmark in 1966. The dwellings are normally open daily but check the website for updated hours/days of operation.
