San Felipe de Neri Church is a historic Catholic church located in the heart of Old Town Albuquerque, NM. It was built in 1793, making it one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city. The church is named after Saint Philip Neri, an Italian priest known for his sense of humor and joyfulness. The church's architecture is a mix of Spanish colonial and Pueblo styles with thick adobe walls, a flat roof, and a bell tower on the south side. The interior is simple yet elegant with white plaster walls, wooden beams, and a beautiful altar made of carved wood and painted in bright colors. (Submitted by Louise C)
