Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary is an animal sanctuary in New Mexico that is dedicated to rescuing and providing sanctuary for captive-bred wolves and wolfdogs. Visitors who stay the weekend at the campground across the road can help feed the animals. The sanctuary was founded in 1991 and was originally called the Candy Kitchen Rescue Ranch. Candy Kitchen Rescue Ranch was reorganized into the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in 2003. Visitors can take guided tours of the sanctuary which last from about 45 to 90 minutes. The sanctuary also offers photography tours where visitors are allowed inside an average of four of the enclosures over a period of 1-2 hours with a guide.
