The Beekman

5 Beekman Street was the address of an abandoned 9-story building that was (until recently) vacant since the 1940s. This Victorian-style building has a full height atrium and skylight and detailed cast-iron railings and ceilings. It predates NYC skyscrapers but is still standing! As of September 2016 and after much renovation, 5 Beekman Street has been converted into a high-end hotel.
