Abandoned Girl Scout Camp

Saves: 30
Check-ins: 1
An old campfire, eating area, lodgings, and empty pool signify that this was once a fun-filled park for the Girl Scouts. Abandoned since the 1990s the park is now overrun with plant growth and pesky bugs. Located at Beechwood State Park the campground is open to the public. You may not want to stay when the sun starts to set; it's too close to what you would see in a common slasher flick. If you go bring bug repellant and wear clothes that completely cover your limbs. Leave Fido at home - ticks seem to thrive in the dense foliage.
