Description:

Larger than the statues of the horse, bison, and totem pole surrounding him, Big Chief Lewis stands some 20 feet tall behind barbed wire between the Massapequa Post Office and the Big Chief Lewis building off Sunrise Highway and Killians Road which helped to preserve him over the years! He was built by Rodman Shutt of Strasburg, PA and erected on May 21, 1968.
