Description:

This mural inside of a sports bar was conceived when famous cartoonist James Thurber couldn't pay his bar tab and decided to do something more valuable for them. So he scribbled some drawings on the back wall which would be considered a priceless work of art. After Thurber finished his work he persuaded some of his esteemed colleagues to contribute. Sergio Aragones, Al Jaffee, and Bill Keane are a few of those renowned artists. The bar itself is a slice of American history, its tables being graced by the likes of Hemingway and Marilyn Monroe.
