Description:

This natural cave sits behind Bridal Veil Falls and is sometimes called Aeolus's Cave after the Greek god of the winds. Discovered in 1834, the cave's dimensions are approximately 130 feet high, 100 feet wide, and 30 feet deep. An elevator ride takes you 175 feet deep into the gorge where you can enter the cave for amazing up-close views of Niagara Falls. This little excursion does cost some cash; check the Niagara Falls State Park website for seasonal hours and pricing.
