Founded in NYC in 1904, The Explorers Club promotes sea, air, land, and space exploration by supporting all research in the physical, natural, and biological sciences. The club has been responsible for quite a few "firsts" - they were first to the North and South Pole, first to Mount Everest's summit, first to the deepest ocean point, and first to the surface of the moon. The Explorers Club is dedicated to field research advancements.
