General Grant National Memorial

Now known as General Grant National Memorial, Grant's Tomb is Ulysses S. Grant's (18th President of the United States) final resting place (1822–1885). His wife, Julia Dent Grant (1826–1902), also rests there. Completed in 1897, the tomb was placed under the management of the National Park Service in 1958.
