Description:

The George Eastman Museum opened in 1949 in Rochester, New York and is the world's oldest museum dedicated to photography. It's also one of the world's oldest film and motion picture archives. The museum is a leader in film preservation and photograph conservation and is home to the 500-seat Dryden Theatre. Located on the estate of George Eastman, the founder of Eastman Kodak Company, the estate was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966.
