Description:

Morbidly named Dead Horse Bay this is where horse carcasses were rendered in the late 1800s. Also a history lesson in how irresponsible industrial advances caused blights such as this beach, visitors can find all manner of discarded items from the past. Glass bottles are not all that you will find here. Old shoes, broken vintage machines, and horse bones are only some of the things that have washed ashore. As the name suggests, wear heavy shoes and pants and take care while stepping around the broken glass.
