Harris Hill Overlook

One of the favorite spots in Chemung Valley offers incredible views of Big Flats. The rounded hilltops and jagged ridges were carved out by receding glaciers 12,000 years ago. It's also a popular place to go gliding so don't be surprised if you see gliders taking flight from your vantage point. Don't forget to stop at the National Soaring Museum, a place to learn about the history of aircrafts in the area. (Submitted by Nicholas Miller)
