Keith Haring's, Once Upon a Time

"Once Upon a Time" was the creation of Keith Haring in 1989. He was 31 at the time and this was his last major mural before his untimely death by AIDS complications in February 1990. What makes this really unusual is that this mural was painted in a second floor men's bathroom. Since Haring's works have sold at auction for up to $2.5 million, it is quite logical to assume that this is the most valuable bathroom in America! You can see it for free because the Keith Haring Bathroom and other works at the Center Show are now open to the public during regular business hours.
