The elegant house has seen much better days. In fact it's the perfect place to film a horror movie or...to murder someone. The house is the site of untimely death with one of the Kreischer descendants committing suicide in the 1930s and the murder and dismemberment of a person in 2005. With its dilapidated state and the horrific tragedies that occurred here many believe that Kreischer Mansion is one of the most haunted places in New York.
