Museum & Gold Vault

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is located on Liberty Street in the Financial District. Did you know that the Fed offers guided tours of their massive, block-long facility? There are 12 Reserve Banks in the United States and the New York location is the largest. Guided tours of the building are offered every weekday and you can also sign up to do a self-guided tour of the building. The guided tour includes a trip to the gold vault! You will not be allowed to visit the gold vault if you are doing a self-guided tour. All tours, including the self guided tour, need to be booked in advance and absolutely no photos or videos of any kind may be taken while inside the Federal Reserve Bank.
