The Strong Museum

Formerly The Strong National Museum of Play, the National Museum of Play is part of The Strong in Rochester, New York. It was established in 1969 and was based initially on the personal collection of Margaret Woodbury Strong. Opening to the public in 1982, the museum refined and increased its collections that feature hundreds of thousands of items. It has expanded twice, in 1997 and 2006.
