Description:

Located in the former quarters of FDNY Engine Company No. 30, The New York City Fire Museum cares for over 10,000 objects, archives, photographs, etc. that are estimated in the tens of thousands and celebrates the history of the fire service and the NYC Fire Department. Modern day fire fighting equipment is also on permanent display as well as a memorial to the 343 members of the FDNY-EMS who were lost at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
