Description:
This was the home of Frederic Edwin Church (1826–1900) - -one of the figures in the Hudson River School of landscape painting. This eclectic villa called Olana is composed of a number of styles which fail categorization. It's interior remains as it did when Church was alive. Olana was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965.
