Pember Library and Museum
The Pember Museum's mission is to engage, enrich, educate, and inspire children and adults about natural history. Their continuing mission is to conserve the collections of Franklin Pember as well as to exhibit them in the museum's original setting. Established in 1909, the Pember Museum of Natural History and the Pember Nature Preserve provide programs, exhibits, and activities for eastern New York and western Vermont and it serves large numbers of school children yearly. Lectures, field trips, environmental studies, tours, hikes, day camps, outreach, and many other special programs are offered.
