The City Reliquary Museum

To see the past and present of New York visit this not-for-profit museum. Rotating and permanent exhibits showcase a variety of local artifacts such as old restaurant neon signs. Some of the collection is mundane, like a set of antique dentures that washed up on one of the bays. Unique and unorthodox, don't go expecting a version of MoMA. Founder Dave Herman's singular vision of New York is encompassed here, built with donations and loans from local people who wanted to share their own personal history with the rest of the world.
