The Saugerties Lighthouse

This historic lighthouse on the Hudson River was built in 1869 but went out of service in 1954. Its unique feature is the attached living quarters which also serve as a bed and breakfast. One of the bedrooms has been converted into the Museum Room with photos, maritime artifacts, and ship models on display.
