Description:

These actual ruins, once part of a hotel dining hall that served swimmers in the nearby Lake Ontario located in Durand-Eastman Park, is now a little more than sets of curved steps leading up to a tall stone wall. It looks like an ancient European castle that has fallen into ruin which fanned the local legend that has grown around the site. The legend is lengthy but the gist of the story is a white phantom that is rumored to hover over the ramparts of the former refectory. Others have reported seeing the spectral "white lady" ghost flanked by a pair of spectral dogs! "Ok, Scooby, let's get outta here!"
