Description:

Located at 233 Broadway in Manhattan, NY is an early U.S. skyscraper that was constructed between 1910 and 1912. The building was purchased by F. W. Woolworth and his real estate agent for $1.65 million. The final site was acquired by Woolworth and Hogan for the project which totaled $4.5 million by January 1911. To this day it remains one of the 100 tallest buildings in the United States and it has been a National Historic Landmark since 1966.
