Description:
On a Brooklyn brownstone a multitude of tiles have been strategically placed to create an uncommonly enchanting work of art. Artist Susan Gardner started her project in 2001 and it is still a work in progress. Although the facade of her home sticks out like a beautifully sore thumb her mosaic has become a community project. Her neighbors routinely bring her new materials to work hoping that she can finish her masterpiece in the next few years.
