Description:

Angus Barn opened in 1960 on a rural stretch between Raleigh and Durham and quickly became one of North Carolina’s most iconic steakhouses. Founded by Thad Eure Jr. and Charles Winston, the restaurant grew from its original barn style dining room, overcame a major fire in 1964, and expanded into a nationally recognized destination known for warm hospitality and classic Southern charm. Guests come for its signature steaks, including filet and New York strip, along with seafood, surf and turf plates, and the beloved Chocolate Chess Pie that has become a house favorite.
