Description:

A flatiron sculpture in front of a flatiron building is a decorative pun in the form of art. The giant, black antique housewares item was installed in 1997, a reminder of the early 1900s when flatiron buildings were a popular architectural style. Parking on the street is virtually impossible so it's best to find a nearby parking structure. While you're there there's a lot to see within walking distance such as the Woolworth Walk and the Asheville Pinball Museum.
