Carowinds

Carowinds is a prominent amusement park located on the border of North and South Carolina near Charlotte, spanning over 400 acres and offering a variety of thrilling rides, family attractions, and seasonal events. Opened in 1973 and operated by Cedar Fair, the park features notable roller coasters like Fury 325 and Intimidator, a water park named Carolina Harbor, and themed areas such as Camp Snoopy for younger visitors. Carowinds also hosts special events like SCarowinds for Halloween and WinterFest during the holiday season, providing diverse dining options and live entertainment to enhance the guest experience.
