Mile High Swinging Bridge

Grandfather Mountain is the highest peak in the Blue Ridge Mountains which makes it the perfect spot to build a swinging suspension bridge. The wavering walkway is 228 feet long and swings side to side on an extremely windy day. If you're into cheap thrills that are inherently safe, head to this park - you'll get some breathtaking views and photos while you're there.
