Description:
Located on the Crystal Coast, the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is home to the famous white sea turtle named Nimbus. Not only is he albino, but he was also born with a cleft palate. He was found as a hatchling by a volunteer who noticed he couldn't break free of his shell due to his oral deformity. He had to be hand fed as a hatchling but now he is five years old and weighs over 20 lbs. You can watch him being fed every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evening.
