Description:
In the 1950s, QJ Stephenson started his work of art - the Occoneechee Trapper's Lodge. Built out of the fear that the naturalist way of living was no more, this lodge was a dedication to life of a trapper. Built out of petrified wood, fossils, shells, and other miscellaneous materials, this lodge is an urban explorer delight - long after Stephenson's death in 1997. It's highly unlikely the property will be restored, as it has degraded over time due to natural and manmade elements. The last known status of the property is "For Sale."
