Description:
The small and unassuming island of Ocracoke has its own ferry terminal where people catch their ferries going to and from the island. It's also a nice and inexpensive way to see the Pamlico Sound. Fun fact: Ocracoke Island is where Blackbeard died in 1718. For different ferry schedules and fees visit the Ocracoke website.
