Description:

In the 1960s, a retired tobacco farmer named Henry Warren built a little elfin village stone by stone. He named it Shangri La after the fictional fantasyland described in the 1933 novel "Lost Horizon." Well-kept and delightful, this little Eden is a nice stop if you're traveling through Caswell County on Highway NC-86.
