Description:

North Carolina prospered from tobacco agriculture. This farm and museum is a 5th-generation family farm much of it preserved from the early 1900s. The museum focuses on the way of life for farmers a century ago and the process of growing tobacco for commercial use. The farm is also a reminder of how hard life was for those in the agricultural industry even 50 years ago.
