Description:

The state that is "First in Flight" is home to the Wright Brothers National Memorial. The granite monument stands on Kill Devil Hill and commemorates the place where Wilbur and Orville Wright first flew. Also here is a Visitor Center which displays the tools used by the Wright Brothers in their quest to achieve the perfect flight.
