This park is an important fort in the bloody Battle of the Little Bighorn and from here Custer rode out to his death. Many of the structures have been reconstructed including corrals, campsites, and Custer's house. The ever-popular On-A-Slant Indian Village shows the Mandan way of life from 1575-1781. Daily tours of the buildings and village run from May to September.
